The University of Texas Macintosh freeware and shareware archive has been discontinued. Its maintainer, Chris Johnson, has for some time been unable to keep up with the the demands of maintaining the archive. Rather than allowing an archive of obsolete programs to remain, we've decided to remove it. But don't despair, there are plenty of other Macintosh software archives which are actively maintained. This is not intended to be a comprehensive list. If you can't find the software you are looking for at any of those sites, try a search engine. UMich has a list of some search engines designed for hunting down software.
